Smithfield appoints Ged Brumby as an Associate Director
Ged Brumby joins Smithfield, the financial and corporate communications agency, in July as Associate Director for its Corporate Communications practice. He joins from Citigate Dewe Rogerson where he spent the last eight years, during which time he worked with a number of financial and corporate clients ranging from Investec to the Qatar Financial Centre Authority.
At Smithfield, Ged will be working on a variety of Smithfield’s existing clients including Old Mutual Asset Managers, JLT, Society of Pension Consultants and CFA Society of the UK. He will be overseeing the day-to-day running of accounts as well as assisting in driving the development of the Corporate practice as a whole.
Smithfield's corporate practice has enjoyed a strong first half of 2011. It has won several important client mandates including AXA UK and a number of specific practice remits for BDO.
